Euroshmup - Term explained

Euroshmup is a term, that was sort of new for me - a term that somehow can cause a lot of confusion. The origin comes from the type of games, that were made in Europe during the 80s and the 90s. But at the same time it sometimes refers to “flawed gamedesign, that is not tight to a certain geolocation”.

Iridion 2 for GBA

There are many great “Euroshmups”, easpecially from the 90ies. To give a good example, have a play of Iridion 2 for Game Boy Advanced. It is acually made in Europe (Germany) by Shinen.
